Itinerary
Our adventure at EFV starts off with an hour and a half drive trough the luscious jungle. As you watch, you’ll see Westernized building start to fade away and transition to Karen style bamboo and wooden houses. Once you’ve arrived at the camp, it is time for a small break and some refreshments.
Afterwards you will meet our elephant keepers and your tour guide for the day. This is followed by preparing some elephant medicine balls, so be prepared to get your hands dirty
Now it is finally time to meet the elephants who are already eager to meet you, as they new visitors bring tasty treats, so you will get quite close to them while your tour guide captures all these moments on camera. The elephants will lead you then into the forest to a show you their favourite places to forage. After lunch or before dinner it is time for a small hike and bath. When the elephant lay down in the water, we will scrub their skin to help them with parasite prevention. During the day, you will have time to catch a break with some locally prepared lunch or dinner by one of the villagers. This is also the perfect time to have a chat with your tour guide and find out more about Karen culture
The day will be rounded off with a hand-tying ceremony which is traditional Karen blessing. from here on, we will bring you back to your hotel.
